A Spoon Full of Sugar, Challenge 5

Checks Galore

This time at A Spoon Full of Sugar you are going to make a card using any type of check. On paper, ribbon or brads, ect., somewhere on the design. I've used checks on some of my paper, ribbon and the netting behind the cute hÄnglar boy.

Denne gangen hos A Spoon Full of Sugar, skal du lage et kort med ruter. Alle typer av ruter er lov, skottske, diamantruter ect..! Og du kan ha ruter på motivet, papiret eller pynten! Jeg har noen ruter på mønsterpapirene, båndet og på nettingen bak den søte gutten fra hÄnglar. Det er flaskenett fra Tax Free handelen i fjor;) Et lite tips som ikke har noe med dette å gjøre, er å gå inn på hÄnglar bloggen, der har Jessica laget en fantastisk boks til kortene sine, og med oppskrift!

Here is my card for the Friday Sketchers challenge 7.

All the papers are from Prima, and the Cavalier Collection. I think they are just fantastic. And they all smell like an old library!:) Haha! The flowers are also from Prima, and the metal embellishment are from Memories Keepers. Except from the hearts, they are from Unik Hobby.

I don't usually show you my backs, but here you can see this one:

I am going to give this card to my wonderful husband tomorrow, so hope he likes it;) We have been married for ONE year! (Oh.. it's actually today(23 th), the time passed midnight.. it flies when I'm on my computer)

Pop up ¨hÄnglar & Grunge"

Det var så moro med pop up kort at jeg måtte lage et med

hÄnglar & stÄnglar også.

Det ble dette insektskortet:)

hÄnglar er malt med Distress, milled lavender og faded jeans.

De samme fargene har jeg også brukt på "Grunge blomstene" fra Stempelglede. Her lilla innerst og blåfargen på kantene. Under et oversiktsbilde:
"Hallo, er vi ikke søte?;)" Mønsterark fra Basic Grey og Graphic 45. I bakgrunnen har jeg laget prikker med Liquid pearls, white opal.
Under her er blomstene fra Stempelglede, som er punchet ut med Retro flower punchen. For å få bøy på dem, bruker jeg malepenselen, og former blomsten rundt den.Framsiden: her har jeg brukt Gratulerer-teksten fra Papirloftet. Jeg har krympet ene hÄnglar'en med frostet krympeplast. Da bare stempler jeg motivet på plasten, og blåser på med embrossingpistolen. Baksiden: her har jeg krympet det personlige stempelet mitt.

Cute Card Thursday ~Challenge 15~

Shabby Chic & Grunge

Here is my birthday card for this week's Cute Card Thursday:

The flowers and the swirl are from Stempelglede's Grunge Collection. For the flowers I used the colours spiced marmalade and fired brick (Distress Ink). I added the darkest colour on the edges, and the lightest in the middle. Then I used my retro flower punch. These stamps are perfect for that punch! The poem is from an old schoolbook;) Under you can see the Shabby Chic Tilda:

A Spoon Full of Sugar, Challenge 4

Let's celebrate!!

It's A Spoon Full of Sugar's fourth challenge:) And now I can use my hÄnglar & stÄnglar images!! Also can you;) I would love to see a lot of celebration cards this week!!

So please join the challenge!

The cute couple is perfect for wedding cards:) This is a bit simple card, where I have used the paper from Cosmo Cricket for inspiration. Added some buttons and flowers in the same colours as the paper. I have also teared the edges, and used some Distress to make it look a bit old.
The names of the happy couple inside, and you can write a greeting on the left side. I even gave the girl som earrings;) (Thanks to Hanne for the idea!)

Pop up ~Ismaki 24~

This week's sketch at Ismaki was fantastic!! They challenged me to make a Pop-up card:) It was so fun to make, took the whole day, but...!;) Here it is: It's another wedding card, with the sweet couple Lola and Simon

from Rachelle Anne Miller.

Here you can see them on their first date;)

First I stamped the images on the background,

then I coloured it all with Distress.

All the other images are from Magnolia.

Under you can see how the popup images are fastened.

The text under says "To the newly-married couple".

To make the red flowers I first rubed red Distress (fired brick) on watercolour paper, then added some drops of water on, and let it dry. Used so my retro flower punch, and at last embrossed the edge of the flowers with gold. I used the same flowers on the front side.

Since there was no room to write a greeting, I had to add this tag on the front side.

All the papers are from my favourite Graphic 45.

This week's challenge at Tilda & Co I can make anything I like with Magnolia stamps, as long as it involves swirls (my swirls are by the way from Stempelglede).

So here is my card:

Jeg fikk en utfordring av Neeta, som jeg nesten hadde glemt. Den går ut på:

Dette er den andre boken i en serie på tre om Mikael Blomquist og Lisbeth Salander. Jeg slukte alle tre, de var helt fantastiske!!

Her er et bryllupskort jeg har laget for ei på jobben.

Jeg har brukt Stempelglede sin svirl fra stempelsamlingen Min venn. Først har jeg stemplet med Archival Ink, Olive. Så litt lysere farge (som en skygge) med ColorBox sin Olive Pastel. Hovedmotivet er ifra Sugar Nellie, Rachelle Anne Miller design, Simon og Lola. Malt med Distress Ink. "Kjære brudepar" er ifra Papirloftet. Det har jeg først stemplet med Archival Ink, Olive, så embrosset med blank embrossingpulver. Jeg har over et transparent ark (sirkel).

Blad og blomster ifra Prima. Klipsen ifra Tim Holtz. QK-alfabetet heter Zoe. Jeg har prikket litt på høyre side av konvolutten med Liquid Pearls, White Opal. Litt grønt rufsebånd rundt blomsten. Kantene er svertet med Distress Ink, Vintage Photo og ColorBox, Fluid Chalk, Dark Brown. Mønsterark er Melissa Frances, Amanda.

Dorullkort-utfordring hos ScrappeMania

Mitt første dorullkort!!:)

Jeg fant utfordringen hos ScrappeMania.

Jeg har stemplet (Archival Ink, Coffee) rundt kantene med swirlen fra Stempelglede.

"Til en venn" på tagen er også fra Stempelglede. Den er stemplet med Archival Ink også, men så embrosset to ganger med Blank embrossingpulver. Kanter er svertet med Distress Ink, Vintage Photo og ColorBox fluid chalk, Dark Brown.

Perler og mynter til pynt er ifra Kort og Godt. Blomster og blad fra Prima.
