WoJ: The Cute Couple

I wanted to try to mask two of the new Whiff of Joy images. And I just adore these two, aren't they the cutest couple!?!
I have done so much with the images. After masking I coloured them with Distresses. I then added some vintage photo to the edges (with a sponge). Then sprayed on some Glimmer mist. And at last I added UTEE (as you can catch a glimpse of on the last photo).
Some flowers with the retro flower punch. And I have teared the paper.
Here I have used the blitz on my camera to show you the glassy surface in the image. I have used UTEE, and melted it with my heat gun.

Blog Candy:
Just visited Marlene, and she has a great Candy, with many prizes!!
Thank you for visiting my blog!

StampARTic: Tombow-article

Noen nærbilder av partymusa fra Whiff of Joy:
Tusjene var sponset av Motivet.com, tusen takk!!

A Spoon Full of Sugar # 40 Shape Shifter

This week at A Spoon Full of Sugar we have an exciteing challenge:
to make a different shaped card.
I have used my nesties to make a heart shaped card. It was for my brother who turned 16 in January. So it is a while since I made it.
Here it is, and further down I will show you how I put it together.
Here are some of the parts. This is most to show you the corners (the blue ones). I folded them like you see on the photo.
Put all together, and sewed around the heart.
On the other side I first sewed all the parts together (heart), then I glued the heart to the corners.
Here you can watch it from the side:
Edwin from Magnolia is coloured with Distresses. And I have also distressed all the edges with Distress, vintage photo.
On the back:
Give it a try, it is fun!!

A Spoon Full of Sugar #38 Doodle Doo, and two more birthday cards!!

First of all I have to say a BIG thank you to all that have congratulated me with my birthday!! I am overwhelmed by all the nice comments:)
My day was really nice. Breakfast by my husband, then some colouring of images. And later on we were ten in my family out eating. I also got some nice presents. My husband gave me the daylight lamp some weeks ago, and it is fantastic. Now I can photograph my cards whenever I want, and it is great to use also when I am colouring.
But now to this week's challenge at a Spoon Full of Sugar. It is about doodles. I am not good at making handmade doodles, but luckily I was allowed to use scrolls and borders from Stempelglede. So I was saved;) Here is my card:
I think this Tilda is so cute. She is coloured with Distress Ink.
I have some small decorations inside the card aswell. And you can see the nestabillities-heart on 3d-pillows.
I the metal-corner and the flowers are from Papirloftet. The text "Til lykke" is from Stempelglede. And I have made a border with the Martha Stewart punch.
Can you belive, I also got some gorgeous cards in the mail yesterday!!! Both from my fantastic and suportive friends in A Spoon Full of Sugar.
The first one is from dear Debbie:
This one is from dear Joanne. And she also sent me the sweetest lucky charm. You can see it infront of the card. I think it will look great on my handbag;)
Thank you so much Debbie and Joanne. You made my day yesterday with your amazing cards!!

Thank you!

It is my birthday today, and I want to thank the good friends of mine that sent me these gorgeous cards!!
Last year in February I started this blog, and in only one year I have made several good friends through this blog. It is amazing!
I so appreciate the thoughts we share, the inspiration we give eachother, and most of all I value all the positive feedback I get from you all. It gives me happiness and a great deal of selfconfidence to read all the kind and supportive comments I get from you. Espesially nice after a hard day at work;)
Here is the supercute card I got from the lovely Nikki, my friend in A Spoon Full of Sugar.
In a Spoon Full of Sugar I got this other amazing friend, that has a farm full of cute animals. I love visiting her blog, and look at the life on her farm:)
Here is talented Michelle's lovely card:
When I said yes to be in the DT for StampARTic, I met a bunch of fantastic girls from whole of Scandinavia. Lillemor is one of them. And she sent me this wonderful card. You can't see all the gold on it, but it looks just amazing!
I got to know the very talented Deb through A Spoon Full of Sugar. And she sent me this gorgeous card:
Here comes a special card. It is made by my mother in law! She doesn't have a blog, but she likes making cards. Sometimes we make cards together. It is really nice. She made this card after a course we went to (by Linda Muhr!).
At last I am proud to show you the amazing & special card I got from Camilla.
She is one of my biggest inspirations, and I just adore her cards. Here is the front of the card, but look further down, and you will see the gorgeous inside:) The inside of the card. It is so perfectly decorated, with a pocket, and inside -the nicest letter.
And she has also used the photo of me and added powder, melted it, and then broke it. It looks great!
Again, thank you so much for the cards, it made my day!!
You all know what a special gift a handmade card is:)
