Kurs i Distress maling hos Hobbykroken!:)

Du finner all info her.

Only 35:)

Made with love

Here I have made a new card with an old time favourite Tilda. It is a birthdaycard for Anny! And I have started using my Distresses again.
I have been asked by two stores to have Distress colouring classes, so I just have to start again, before I forget how I did it;)
The one class is in another country!!! I am really exited about it, I fell like it is a dream:))
I will tell you more about it later;)
Now back to the card, I have a lot of photos...
Distresses:
Skin: Tattered rose, Vintage photo, Aged Mahogany
Hair: Walnut Stain, Antique linen, Vintage photo
Dress/bow: Tumbled glass, Broken China, Faded Jeans
Socks: Black soot
Rose: Aged Mahogany, Black Soot, Shabby Shutters
Shadows around the image: Weathered wood
As you can see above, I have added Crackle Accents to the rose. I have also found a new Stickles called Waterfall, love it! And it is used all over the card:)
Many flowers on the card, this big one is from Magnolia's own store. The small white ones are from WOC. And I have also added a silver heart among the flowers.

The letters are Thickers from American Crafts. I did not have the letter 'a', so I had to cut a 'q':)
The cornerswirls are from Stempelglede. And the papers are from Prima, called Jack n' Jill. Just lovely, so sweet! Many of the things on my card are from a store I visited on Saturday, called Hobbykroken. Like the KaiserCrafts-flowers, pearls, Stickles and papers. And soon they are getting Magnolia-stamps aswell.
My husband Bjarne had to come with me, orelse I was afraid I wouldn't find it. And he had a nice time aswell;) He got a comfortable chair, coffee and a newspaper:)
I would also like to enter two challenges:
Just Magnolia-Lace it up

To sweet baby Albert

Finally I have a distressed card again! I had hoped to make a card for the Sir Stampalot monthly challenge, which is All Distressed, so here it is:) And I would also like to enter two more challenges:
Look at that cute baby!:) I know it is baby Tingla from Magnolia, but it is just as nice for a boy too. He is a little angel. I have mainly used Weathered Wood for the image. For the shadows I have used Black Soot. And you can see a lot of Stickles-Star Dust here.
Here are my laces; behind all the flowers I have a DooHickey lace, and on the DooHickey tag there is also a lace. The flowers are from Magnolia, and the berries are from Kort og Godt.
I have been wanting this tag since I saw it the first time, and now I have it. Since I started with my Copics, I haven't been able to buy much more..! But I just had to have this! Do you know the feeling?:)
The gorgeous text is from Stempelglede, and it is stamped with Archival Ink. I have distressed the edges with Walnut Stain, and added Stickles-Star Dust.
The letters are thickers from American Crafts.
I have used my oval spellbinder dies, and on the scallops I have put on Liquid pearls-white opal. I have also used some real pearls to the right here. The papers are from Magnolia too:) And I have been sewing again.
{You can also find this post in my Magnolia blog}
Hope you are having a wonderful week.
Thank you for your lovely comments, they make my day!
And also thank you for visiting:)

Tilda blows you away!:)

Og her kommer tusjene:
{Du kan også finne kortet i Magnoliabloggen min}

Over ser du kortet fra siden.

Published card in Ett Trykk nr.4/2010

Some time ago the Magnolia team was asked to be guests in the Norwegian Magazine Ett Trykk, together with the Hãnglar team. The focus were on colouration.
We were so happy and proud to be asked, it was such an honour!! And no surprise the article was GREAT!!! So many talented artist in the same magazine! And it is like a dream to be among them:)
I feel like it is ages since I used Distresses...!
Since Ett Trykk wanted to see colouration, I masked together several images, so that I had a lot to colour. The challenge was more on how to decorate the small parts that were left behind the image;)
I love the Magnolia tree, and have added a lot of Stickles-Star Dust on it.
Here is the text for the magazine:
Size: 15x15 cm.
Ink: Archival Ink - Coffee.
Stamps: Magnolia - Tilda with Kitten, Magnolia Tree, Spring Fence, Just Sittin'here (text).
Pattern Paper: Melissa Frances - Florence, Madeline.
Other: Stickles-Star Dust; Quic Kutz-Photo Corner, leaf; Kaiser Crafts-pearls; Wild Orchid Crafts-flowers; Panduro-tag; lace, metal butterfly, doily.
I have coloured the image with Distress Ink, Reinkers. The edges are inked with Walnut Stain, and sewed.
Other: I have used addhesive foam to lift up the image.
Thank you Åshild and Ett Trykk for asking us! We had so much fun!!:)

Thank you for visiting and have a lovely evening!

Here I am:)

Long time no seen..! But here I am!:)
I am kind of hooked on the Copics. I tired to use my Distresses again, but it didn't look good, so maybe I forgot how to do it...? Scary thought!
Here I have used some new colours. The clothes are made of RV000, 10, 32. I am trying to make a colour similar to the Victorian Velvet from Distress Ink.
Her hair are E25, 31, 33 and 41. And skin: E0000, 000, 00, 11, 13.
You may wonder why it is a feather behind Tilda?:) It is because I am entering the Magnolia Down Under Challenge, where feather was one of the things you could put on your card. I have also used a tag with a bird on behind, so it is a link;) And Tilda is out flying!
The text is also from Magnolia, and it makes me smile:) The borderpunch I have used is a new one (for me) from Martha Stewart (Daisy). The flowers are from Kort og Godt. All the beautiful pattern papers are from Magnolia's own line. The pearls are from KaiserCrafts, and the colour is called "Latte". I have used Stickles-Star Dust and Platinum. Tilda is cut out and put on addhesive foam.
I am also entering the Challenge at Just Magnolia, where anything goes!

Thank you so much for visiting and I wish you a lovely evening!
